Chris A. Erickson, President
A Minnesotan his entire life, Chris earned a Phi Beta Kappa key and graduated summa cum laude from St. Olaf College in 1982. After eleven years with IBM in various engineering, marketing and management positions, Chris joined Merrill Lynch where he spent fourteen years as a financial advisor and six years as a portfolio manager. In June 2008 Chris founded Northland Capital Management using best practices from throughout the financial industry. His primary responsibility is discretionary portfolio management for the firm's clients.

Chris's family includes his wife Leane and children Kirsten, Brian and Douglas.

Maryellen G. Whitcomb, Administrative Assistant
Maryellen joined Northland Capital Management in May 2009. She is responsible for the firm's administrative and operational functions including account documentation, portfolio performance reporting, and client communications. Prior to joining Northland Capital Management, Maryellen was a manager in the retail industry. She is a native of Connecticut and member of the Lake Superior Watercolor Society.

Maryellen's family includes her husband Dr. Michael Whitcomb and children Josh, Jay and Ashley.

E. Ann Fryberger
Ann has twenty five years of experience in the financial industry. She is currently President of Fryberger Capital Management, Inc., a Duluth-based investment advisory firm. Ann previously served as a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch, as a registered representative with Paine Webber, and as a trust officer with a local bank. Although Ann is not involved in Northland Capital Management's daily operations, she is available to take over the firm's business if the need arises.

Ann's family includes her husband Richard and daughter Laura.
